Cookie Policy

Last updated: 16 October 2026

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small files that a website may place on a visitor’s device. They can be used for functions such as remembering preferences, keeping a visitor signed in, measuring website use or supporting advertising.

2. Cookies used by SonBouGardens.com

SonBouGardens.com is a primarily static information website.

Ordinary information pages do not use analytics or advertising cookies. The Plus apartment enquiry form uses an essential session cookie, SBGPLUS, to protect the form against misuse and repeat submissions. It is not used for advertising or analytics and normally expires when you close your browser.

The site does not currently use:

analytics cookies;
advertising or conversion-tracking cookies;
affiliate-tracking cookies;
marketing cookies;
live-chat cookies;
customer-account or login cookies;
shopping-basket or online-payment cookies; or
cookies for remembering visitor preferences.

The website does not use Google Analytics, Google Ads or embedded Google Maps.

Because the website does not currently place non-essential cookies, it does not display a cookie-consent banner.

3. Enquiry forms

The Plus apartment enquiry form is processed securely on SonBouGardens.com when you press “Submit Enquiry”. It uses Web Travel Services Ltd’s existing enquiry-recording and email systems. Other apartment enquiry forms continue to be submitted to the enquiry-handling system at sonbouholidays.co.uk.

The forms do not use analytics or advertising cookies on SonBouGardens.com. The essential Plus session cookie is required to submit that form. Other apartment forms connect your browser to sonbouholidays.co.uk for processing.

Information about the personal data sent through the forms is provided in our Privacy Policy.

4. Google Maps and other external websites

Google Maps is not embedded in the website and is not loaded automatically.

Google Maps opens only when you deliberately select a “View on Google Maps” link. Google may then use cookies or similar technologies under its own privacy and cookie policies.

The same principle applies to other external websites linked from SonBouGardens.com. Following an external link takes you to a separate website that may use its own cookies. SonBouGardens.com does not control cookies placed by those external websites.

5. Browser controls

You can use your browser settings to view, block or delete cookies.

Blocking cookies should not prevent you from reading information pages on SonBouGardens.com, but blocking the essential Plus session cookie prevents that enquiry form from working. You can telephone us instead. Blocking cookies may also affect external websites that you choose to visit.

Browser providers explain their cookie controls in their own help documentation.

6. Changes to this policy

We will review this policy if cookies, analytics, embedded services or similar technologies are added to the website.

If a non-essential technology is introduced in future, it will not be activated for visitors until the website has been reviewed and any required information and consent controls have been put in place.
